The University of Saskatchewan (uSask) is a top research university situated in Saskatoon, Canada. It’s a member of the U15, a group of the top Canadian research universities. The main university campus is home to programs ranging from business, law, arts and science, to engineering, medicine and veterinary medicine, along with many others.


The University offers world-leading research in important areas like water and food security. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities including the Canadian Light Source synchrotron, VIDO-InterVac, the Global Institute for Food Security, the Global Institute for Water Security, and the Sylvia Fedoruk Centre for Nuclear Innovation.


Since its establishment in the year 1907 in Canada, University of Saskatchewan has emerged as a well-known research-based university. It’s received a sum of around $175 million from its sponsors for conducting researches.


The university is spread across 6 acres of land on the eastern bank of the River of South Saskatchewan. Land of 200 hectares is given for the Innovative Place Research Park. The Campus is home to multiple colleges that are affiliated with the university. The university has made great contributions to the development and growth of Saskatchewan. There are around 100 student clubs, the campus has 7 museums and art galleries, and a Physical Activity Complex. The campus is known as one of the most wonderful campuses in Canada due to its green space, buildings, and walkways.


There are around 25000 students that have come from over 109 countries. It maintains a 1:17 faculty to student ratio. The University of Saskatchewan offers more than 130 programs, it has 13 colleges, 6 affiliated colleges, and three graduate schools under it.
